Video Production Technician
CT-N

The Connecticut Democracy Center (CTDC) is seeking an experienced, full-time Production Technician to work on productions originating from the Connecticut Network (CT-N) broadcast control room in Hartford and remote locations throughout Connecticut. A solid control room background and production experience is a must, with strong skills and knowledge of audio and video routers, switchers, character generators, video servers, cameras and audio mixers.

The ideal candidate will successfully multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, using superior communications and interpersonal skills. You must function well independently and as part of a highly motivated team, while meeting tight deadlines. Knowledge of state government a plus! Flexibility in work schedules required, working scheduled or unscheduled overtime as needed. The ability to lift or move up to approximately 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required, as is an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2 - 4 years of relevant experience. CPAN offers an hourly rate of $15-$16/hr. DOE, excellent benefits, including a retirement savings plan with company match, 12 paid holidays, free parking and highly competitive medical insurance plans. No relocation assistance provided.
