Broadcast Engineer for our video production and
broadcast operations in Hartford. Main
responsibilities for this full-time position
include installation, troubleshooting, repair
and preventive maintenance of television
broadcast production systems and equipment.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a
related field and
a minimum of 5 years experience in
television engineering required
Knowledge of analog and digital video
and audio systems, plus the ability to read
and follow schematics and facility system
wiring diagrams
SBE Certification or FCC General
Radiotelephone license required
Schedule flexibility a must!
This position requires the ability to
lift or move up to approximately 50 lbs. on
a regular basis
Starting annual salary range in the
$50's, depending on background and
experience

Technician to work on productions originating
from our broadcast control room in Hartford as
well as at various locations throughout
Connecticut. A solid Control Room background and
production experience operating audio and video
routers, switchers, character generators, video
servers, cameras and audio mixers
is a must. CT-N is
operated by the Connecticut Public Affairs
Network, Inc., a private, non-profit state
contractor.
The ideal candidate can successfully multi-task
in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, using
superior communications and interpersonal
skills. They will also function well
independently and as part of a highly-motivated
team while meeting tight deadlines. Knowledge of
state government a plus! Flexibility in work
schedules required, working scheduled or
unscheduled overtime as needed. The job also
requires the ability to lift or move up to
approximately 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related
field and 2 - 4 years of
relevant experience required. CPAN offers
